UPDATE!!! Georgie's makeover is currently ON HOLD due to his housing situation. He and his family are currently on a waiting list for handicap-accessible government housing. It is anyone’s guess how long this might take – weeks, months or years.... He lives in an apartment right now where the landlord has not been very sympathetic to the needs of his disabled tenant. Currently, his caregivers have to lift him in his wheelchair several steps to enter the building, every time he comes and goes. We are keeping our fingers crossed for Georgie and his family, in the hopes that housing becomes available to them very soon! The entire Blissful Bedrooms team can’t wait to celebrate Georgie’s new home and give him the makeover of his dreams, especially since he has been so patient, volunteers often and supports Blissful Bedrooms and makeover recipient’s in so many ways.
