LABOR DAY ART IN THE PARK

Our impromptu Labor Day Art in the Park event turned out to be a truly heartwarming and special day for all involved. This event was created as sort of a consolation prize for those who were eagerly looking forward to attending our 9th Annual Labor Day Camping Trip at the Blissful Cabin. Unfortunately, that much anticipated event had to be canceled/postponed because the overall support we have always been blessed with didn’t manifest this year. But, the Blissful Bedrooms Core Team volunteers decided to take those lemons and MAKE ART with them, and that we did.

This event speaks to the power of 5 simply amazing volunteers, who set and succeeded in the goal to keep JOY alive. Sure, we so wish we could have been camping, as is our tradition every year at this time, but this day warmed all of our hearts and showed us Art in the Park days must be a regular part of our repertoire going forward.

Thank you so very much to all of our beloved guests who attended yesterday Much gratitude to everyone who came out to help, and all of those kindhearted folks who donated to our Summer FUNdraiser, spoke encouraging words to us, shared and spread the word about our heart centered, charitable efforts and prayed for our success and well being. We know many angels were at play to make this day happen and we are grateful.
